Pune, 1 June 2024: What is going on in Pune? Currently, the hit-and-run case in Pune is in the news. In this case, a juvenile drove a luxury Porsche in an inebriated state and blew up the two men. While the case is burning, another serious accident has come to light in Pune itself. In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl of a police constable rammed into a two-wheeler while driving a goods pickup in Shirur taluka of Pune. The youth on the bike died on the spot while another youth was seriously injured in the accident.
According to reports, the minor daughter of Ranjit Police Patil Santosh Lande was carrying a goods tempo. More seriously, she was accompanied by her father. The girl drove her pickup at high speed and hit a bike coming from the opposite direction while she was carrying the goods tempo. The two-wheeler driver, Arun Memane, died on the spot while Mahindra Bande, who was with him, sustained serious injuries. The accident was so severe that a cargo pickup dragged the driver 20 to 30 feet with the bike. Not only this, they fled the spot without helping the victims after the accident.
Meanwhile, Memane’s brother Satish Memane has lodged a complaint at Shikrapur police station and registered a case against the accused minor girl and her father Santosh Lande. Shikrapur police are investigating the matter further.
