Pune – The academic year 2023-24 of various departments of Savitribai Phule Pune University has been announced. The university has recently announced the schedule for this academic year. Accordingly, the first session of the academic year 2023-24 will start from August 21.
Online education option was made available in higher education to avoid academic loss of students during Corona period. After that the online exam was also conducted. But after the reduction of corona infection, the state government has suggested that steps should be taken to restore the academic year in universities and educational institutions.
But the University of Pune is constantly lagging behind in restoring the broken cycle during the Corona period. In this background, the students along with the affiliated college administration were curious about when the schedule for the academic year 2023-24 would be announced. Finally, the university has announced this schedule at the beginning of August.
Accordingly, the first session of the university will be held from 21st August to 16th December, while the second session will be held from 1st January to 18th May.
The Common Entrance Test has already been conducted for various degree, post-graduate courses of the University under the Faculty of Science and Technology, Humanities, Commerce and Management, Interdisciplinary Studies. The admission process is being implemented after this exam. Accordingly, the university has announced the schedule of the academic year. In this, the university has also announced the duration of winter and summer vacations.
Academic year 2023-24 in Pune University will be as follows:
